Scholarship Application
We want to support dedicated nurses, medical officers, doctors, midwives and physiotherapists in achieving their goals. We offer scholarships for medical studies, specific medical training or specialization.
What do we offer?
- Financial support for training and further education in the health care sector including bachelor and diploma degrees (especially to cover tuition fees)
- Possibility to apply for additional funding for research projects, thesis, etc.
- Provision of a contact person of Endulen e.V. for the duration of the scholarship
- We do NOT provide coverage of living expenses, travel expenses, laptops etc.
- We unfortunately CANNOT provide scholarships for master degrees this year
What do we expect from scholars?
- Reliable and quick communication with the contact person of Endulen e.V.
- Scholars communicate independantly any changes regarding their contact information, tuition fees or project plans during the entire time of the scholarship
- Timely completion and submission of the required documents for the money transfer
- Timely submission of the annual grade report as well as the final report after the end of the scholarship period
- Good academic performance
- Implementation of one social project per scholarship year
- Submitting social media posts to the social media team
- After completion of studies: Working for (at least) 3 years in a health facility in a rural area
Admission criteria
- Enrollment in an education / training program in the Health Care sector. This includes, for example, the following trainings & studies: Human medicine, dentistry, nursing, midwifery, psychology, residency programs, physical therapy, medical-technical professions
- High motivation to improve medical care in Tanzania through professional and voluntary commitment
- Willingness to share your knowledge with others on a regular basis
- Good academic performance
- Fast, honest and reliable communication with Endulen e.V. in English via email, messenger or social media
- At least two years of practical work experience in the medical field is expected for the support of advanced trainings such as master studies
- Employment contract with a medical facility from a preferred church employer

- Fully completed application form
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form
- Last grade report, employment contract if applicable
- Two letters of recommendation (from former or present workplace, university, or other educational programs)
- Cost breakdown for the planned education/ further training per academic year from the university or training center
- A short post (photo with text or video) to introduce yourself on social media
