We want to support dedicated nurses, medical officers, doctors, midwives and physiotherapists in achieving their goals. We offer scholarships for medical studies, specific medical training or specialization.

ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS!

Endulen e.V. is a non-governmental-organization (NGO) aiming to promote health care projects in Tanzania. It was founded in 2008 and is based in Germany. In addition, to the construction & Health Care projects, Endulen e.V. has established a scholarship program to give financial supports to students engaged in study programs related to Medicine & Health Care. We want to support you in achieving your goals.

What do we offer?

  •  Financial support for training/ further education in the Health Care sector through full payment of tuition fees
  • Provision of a laptop for the duration of the scholarship
  • Possibility to apply for additional funding for research projects, thesis, etc.
  • Provision of a contact person of Endulen e.V. for the duration of the scholarship
  • We do NOT provide: coverage of living expenses, travel expenses, book costs, etc.

What do we expect from fellows?

  •  Reliable and quick communication with the contact person of Endulen e.V.
  • Fellows independently communicate any changes in contact information, funding amount or project plans during their entire time of the scholarship
  • Timely completion and submission of the required documents for the money transfer
  • Timely submission of the annual grade report as well as the final report after the end of the scholarship period
  • Provision of good academic performance
  • Implementation of one social project per scholarship year 
  • Submitting social media posts to the social media  team
  • Careful handling of the laptop and return of the same after completion of the scholarship

Admission criteria

  •  Enrollment in an education/ training program in the Health Care sector. This includes, for example, the following trainings & studies: Human medicine, dentistry, nursing, midwifery, psychology, residency programs, physical therapy, medical-technical professions.
  • High motivation to improve medical care in Tanzania through professional and voluntary commitment
  • Willingness to share newly acquired knowledge with others on a regular basis
  • Good academic performance
  • Fast, honest, and reliable communication with Endulen e.V. in English via Email, messenger or social media
  • At least two years of practical work experience in the medical field is expected for the support of advanced training – such as residency training
  • Employment contract with a medical facility from a preferred church employer

Our team from Endulen e.v

In April 2008, the association “Endulen e.V. – carry it with you in your heart!” in Regensburg was founded by Dr. medical Maria Kaan and Dr. medical Florian Schneider. Since then it has been entered in the register of associations at the local court in Regensburg under the association number VR 200 299 and is recognized by the Regensburg tax office as a non-profit and tax-privileged organization under the tax number 244/108/10235.
